SUBJECT: PROPOSAL FOR EVENTS IN AMITY YOUTH FEST 2014

Respected Sir
As my sincere duty as Student Coordinator, G.Suhas Raj of ASE.  It is my privilege to have this prestigious opportunity to propose a hand full of events as the part of ASE. Considering the opinions of the students and ideas from the past fests conducted .I have prepared a brief of proposed events. We have divided the events broadly under two categories: technical and non-technical events.  Amity group being the most popular & prestigious institution in the NCR region, utilising that stature we need to bring in some good publicity and thus attract more people to the technical and non-technical events conducted by us. I will be comprising a committee of senior students, who will manage the whole event systematically monitoring various aspects like budget, sponsorship, invitation, auditions, security etc.

Starting with the workshops by some famous personalities in the country. And we can also advertise about our AFY in different universities, this would help us to get good attraction to sponsors, and there can be a platform to share different ideas and  knowledge. This could strengthen our relationship with some prestigious educational bodies. We can invite some IT professionals, leading entrepreneurs, business tycoons, etc. For career guidance and motivating us for future.
Coming to the cultural and technical events, being an engineering institution some geeky events are a must. So, I propose 
“CS BATTLE”, geek’s battle up in the negative roles, the competition is to add a required error in a perfectly running programme.
“GO CIRCUIT GO”, Students design certain circuits with some specifications provided, the one with best design will be awarded with good appreciation and prize.
“TAL EXPO”, Everyone have their own way of creation we can use it in right way and exbit their ideas with an exhibition it will be both science and cultural.
“HIP HOP”, We can keep a dance competition among our students and the best will be awarded.
There are many more of these events which the students want to share with you like Stunt Mania, Foot Loose, Rock Band, Treasure Hunt, Code Trap, etc.

We plan to hold a poster making competition in the upcoming days among the students of ASE to get a number of posters for fest publicity. The sponsors are yet to be contacted , but as a roadmap we plan on approaching them as soon, your approval of the events. Thereby, allow our views and ideas are at your table. We’ll be pleased if we could do all the above in the fest. A separate team of students will be assigned the task of issuing entry passes.

Above mentioned framework gives the brief view of how we are going to work for AYF-2014.Hope you will appreciate our efforts and ideas and guide us with your worthy words at every step. Looking forward to any criticism from your goodself.
